Guo Hui is an art teacher, an art therapy practitioner, and the director of Light Dance Art Studio. She graduated from the Department of Design at Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts. Her child introduced her to Waldorf education in 2012, beginning a journey of exploration, transformation, and personal growth. In 2016, she began a three-year program of advanced art study with teacher Van in Yinchuan. In 2020, she joined the ninth one-year full-time program at Spring Valley Academy. Since 2022, she has studied in the four-year professional art therapist training program offered by the International Association for Art Therapy Education between China and Switzerland (iARTe). She has taught art in public schools, Waldorf schools, and other institutions since 2021. Through this work, she has experienced the changes art can bring to children, adults, and herself, strengthening her commitment to this colorful path in art.
