Jeff Martin is an Anthroposophy mentor born in Indiana in 1947. After university he studied social science, then studied Anthroposophy at Emerson College in England and worked at an Anthroposophical center for social development in southern England, becoming a specialist in organizational development consulting and process facilitation. For thirty years he worked with different organizations as a teacher, analyst, and consultant while leading workshops that deepened the study and practical application of Anthroposophy. He later researched and taught Anthroposophy in the United Kingdom, Germany, and France and served as a principal Anthroposophy teacher in Waldorf teacher education in Chicago. His recent work has explored Eastern and Western understandings of the human being and compared the wisdom of Laozi, the Buddha, and Confucius with that of Steiner. He has taught at Spring Valley Academy since 2011.
