Mu Chuanzhen holds a master’s degree from the Graduate Institute of Entomology at National Chung Hsing University. She taught for ten years in the conventional secondary-school system, received Taiwan’s first Super Teacher Award, and served in Ci-Xin Waldorf education for eighteen years. At Ci-Xin, she taught health studies, environmental education, chemistry, and farming for grades 7–12. She retired from Ci-Xin Waldorf School in 2024 and continues to provide mentoring and support for teacher-training courses.
Her grade-level teaching has included physiology, chemistry, and horticulture in grade 7; anatomy, food, and nutrition in grade 8; life science focused on the senses and organic chemistry in grade 9; embryology and human biology in grade 10; botany, cells, and genetics in grade 11; and ecology in grade 12. Her particular strengths include Anthroposophical perspectives on healthy eating, nutritional health for infants and primary-school children, gardening and farming modules for grades 1–12, organic agriculture, and adolescent education. She has completed eight years of Anthroposophic medicine courses in Taiwan and six years of secondary-school teacher training.
